OUR MISSION

Expand what humanity can sustain.

We aim to accelerate technology and increase humanity’s carrying capacity: supporting more people at higher living standards sustainably.

From scientific understanding to abundance.

Better tools and deeper understanding can widen the possibilities for human flourishing. Our research asks which advances could reduce resource constraints, improve resilience, or help people coordinate and reason more effectively.

This is a mission and a research question. A theoretical result or benchmark improvement does not by itself demonstrate a real-world increase in carrying capacity.

Follow the causal path.

  1. Identify a constraint on sustainable living standards.
  2. Explain how a scientific or technical result could change that constraint.
  3. Test the intermediate claims, assumptions and possible failure modes.
  4. Assess consequences across quality of life, resilience, resources and ecology.

We work across AI/Computer Science, Quantum Computing and Spacetime. The mission also requires multidisciplinary thinking about physical systems, governance, coordination and human priorities.

Many dimensions. Explicit choices.

Carrying capacity is not a solved single number. Our research framework considers support above a quality threshold, resilience under disruption, ecological and resource constraints, and system drivers such as governance and coordination.

The framework is internally validated for research triage and planning. Final scalarization remains deferred; normative assumptions about quality thresholds and tradeoffs remain open. Internal validation does not establish an independently proven global metric.

Help make the path clearer.
